Seventh Swiss QGIS user meeting

Goals

  • Information about current work in the QGIS project
  • Exchange between QGIS users and networking
  • Contact between users and developers
  • Presentation of new features in the development version
  • Presentation of Case Studies
  • Coordination of upcoming development work

Location: University of Berne, Building UniS, Schanzeneckstrasse 1

Language: the presentations will be in different languages: german, french and maybe english. Presenters are asked to provide slides in a second language.

Arrival: The meeting location is very close the Berne main station. We recommend to use public transportation. If you travel by car you can use the parking lots of Berne main station. From the main station you use the exit west "Die Welle" and proceed towards "Schanzenstrasse/Länggasse". Turn left into the "Schanzeneckstrasse". The building is labeled with Nr. 1 in the local map.

Costs: Attending the presentations in the morning is free. For the workshops in the afternoon we charge a small fee. Members of the QGIS-CH user group: CHF 100.-, Non-members: CHF 150.-, Students: CHF 50.- The workshop price includes a small lunch (sandwiches).

Catering: Coffee breaks in the morning and afternoon will be be provided. Workshop attendees will get a small lunch included.

Registration: registration form (Google Docs) with payment information (only necessary for workshops)

Workshops

Please bring along your own laptop to the workshops, with preinstalled QGIS 2.14. For workshop A you will also need a local PostGIS installation, Java and ili2pg.
