QGIS-CH Mini Workshop "Reporting"

There are two different possibilities to create serial prints in QGIS: "atlas" and "reports". "Atlas" allows to create a serial print from a single "coverage layer". Reports allow two use additional iterations over related child layers - several attribute tables can be used jointly. In this workshop the lesser known QGIS "reporting" functionality will be presented and learned.

In the workshop, the functionality of QGIS reporting (report functionality) will be introduced and practiced using an example. QGIS reports can be iterated over multiple linked tables. Reports, like print layouts or atlas series prints, can contain all objects of the print layouts, e.g. maps, texts, graphics, tables, images and diagrams. Reports can include "header" and "footer" sheets for individual sections in addition to the report body.

At the conclusion of the workshop, questions will be asked and further possible expansion steps in QGIS reporting will be discussed.

Workshop instructor Tim Sutton currently lives in Portugal and is a former QGIS.ORG Chair (now Honorary Chair of the QGIS Steering Committee) and Co-Founder of company Kartoza.
